A short walk down a beautifully landscaped green belt brings you the Clipper Club with its huge world class gym with steam rooms and saunas in the dressing rooms.

Upstairs there is a large meeting room in which exercise classes are held weekly and which is available to residents for parties or other events along with its chef’s kitchen to cater the festivities. Also there are two full size pool tables, a big screen TV lounge and lots of areas to just hang out and relax or socialize with friends, old and new. And to top it off, there is a secure Package Room which protects your packages until you pick them up.

Behind the Clipper Club is Watergate’s large outdoor pool which, like the Anchor Club Pool, is heated year round to 82 degrees plus the large outdoor spa if you really want to get warm.

If you play tennis or want to learn, you can take advantage of Watergate’s 4 lighted tennis courts and possibly take some lessons from the tennis pro. Less strenuous, unless you prefer to jog, is the scenic boardwalk on the Bay with the water views from San Francisco and the Golden Gate back to the Berkeley Hills.

All this is just 15 minutes from downtown SF by car and even closer to Berkeley and downtown Oakland. If you’re not working from home in the enclosed patio and don’t want to drive, there is a free shuttle to BART.

A reserved parking space in the garage close to the building entrance and a storage locker just down the hall are included in the rent.
