This place is pretty much original to the turn of the century when it was built... aside from some updates to the mechanicals over the years (plumbing, electrical, hvac). And that's how we like it. It's a bit of a time capsule... so if you're not into that kind of simple lifestyle... this probably won't be a good fit for you.

The tenants at this property (there are two units) are required to maintain the yard and gardens. If you are not into that--if you don't REALLY love digging in the dirt and gardening and watering and weeding and pruning, etc--this is not the property for you. This is a special, very unique place... and it requires the same in a tenant. It has apple trees, pears, apricots, grapes, cherries, peaches, etc. There's a rose garden with several varieties... lilacs, sunflowers, butterfly bushes, and a dozen other flowering things that I don't even know the names of... even some blackberries and raspberries. And, of course, lots of available space for vegetable and herb gardening.
We do not schedule any showings without some basic pre-qualification first. And we clearly do not accept or review any applications from anyone who has not (1) gone through the pre-qual process and (2) actually seen the property in person--at a scheduled showing. ) We don't want to waste your time--so please don't waste ours.
Tenants pay for all utilities. 12 month lease required. Deposit = 1 month rents with approved credit. Generally require a 650 or better credit score but may waive this with additional deposit if all other aspects of application are strong. Must have several years of recent, positive, verifiable rental history. Must have verifiable experience gardening and maintaining a yard. (i.e. If you have never rented or owned a house before--with a yard that you were required to maintain--we will not rent this space to you.)
In your reply, tell us a bit about yourself and what you are looking for exactly... your ideal move-in date... specifics about any pets... any other occupants besides yourself... etc--to save time going back and forth. We will not schedule a showing without this basic info.
