I’m looking for an awesome, responsible roommate to share my 4br/2ba home located on the edge of Millcreek near the TRAX Meadowbrook Station and The Front at South Main. Private room has the option of coming with an adjustable Sleep Number bed. You get your own bathroom, farm fresh eggs (right??), and a quiet, chill environment. Utilities included! 

The House:

-1,500 square feet with a large backyard and flowing spring (1/4 acre!)

-Room is 13'3"x9'8" with a large closet and two windows 

-2 full baths, ie you get your own shower/bathroom (includes a bidet!)

-Modern kitchen with dishwasher, RO drinking water, new side fridge, and gas stove

-Patio area, fruit trees, garden, berry patch, chicken coop. Entire property is fenced in.

-Central A/C and heat, washer/dryer, Google Fiber Wi-Fi included

-Shared storage including a shed out back

-Security system

-Quiet and a total sanctuary. No-Drama environment.

Rent is $850/month including utilities. I’ve done month-to-month in the past with the intent of long-term residency, and prefer this, but don’t want a short-term tenant. Definitely not an Airbnb. Deposit is $700 and fully refundable. First month and deposit are due up front. Background check and credit check (through Rentler, done last) required along with a personal reference. 

Do you like dogs and fresh eggs? I have chickens and a very friendly, well-trained, senior hound/cattle dog mix. She’s a little angel and doesn’t cause any issues. 

About Me:

-Mechanical engineer, tech writer, and YouTuber working from home (U grad. Woot!)

-Living in Utah for the incredible outdoors. I do it all. Seriously, all of it.

-Clean, quiet, and organized. I generally keep to myself. Courteous of others.

-Focusing on my career and epic adventures, ie not much of a partier but I love a good IPA around the campfire.

-DIY and a 4WD Fabricator. I build stuff in the garage. I’m usually working on something.

-He/Him, non-religious, don't talk politics, and cisgender/non-LGBTQ if that matters.

-If there are ever any issues, you can always rely on me to be respectful, rational, and responsive. I'm looking for a housemate who acts the same. Mutual respect is key! The ability to feel comfortable and communicate is so important for sharing any space.

Some Afterthoughts:

-This is my home and things get fixed before you even know they’re broken. I’ll always listen and be responsive if something bothers you, but my availability for showing is limited. If you think it's a good fit, I’ll make myself available.

-I’m happy to share my hobbies with you and we can totally be friends! Just understand that this is not a party house and I’m usually pretty busy. Evenings are usually pretty quiet around here.

-Please just be a (fairly) normal, high-functioning adult. I'm not asking for perfection, but you need to have your shit together and be someone I'm comfortable living with and can rely on. It goes both ways.
