A little about the place:
The home is a duplex with half the main floor split to provide for the other unit. Available is half of the main floor, all of the upstairs as well as some unfinished basement. The basement is small - typical of old homes in this area - but is a safe space for bikes and other sporting equipment you might prefer to store inside as opposed to the large outdoor Ceder shed in the back yard. The shed is shared and sits on top of a large wooden deck perfect for entertaining when weather permits. The neighbors are fantastic, the location is unbeatable (being so close to the city and public transportation and the "U") but off the beaten path.

Your front entrance is an eight panel beveled door with a secure keyed lock set. The door on the north side is your neighbor. You will walk into the living room and continue on into an updated kitchen. The appliances are all stainless steel - brand new fridge, 36" Thermador stove with griddle, new dishwasher and large stainless steel sink. This is a cook's kitchen -perfect for entertaining and very open with living room attached. The windows and moldings were painstakenly stripped of years of paint and are fir as are the refinished wood floors on the main. Bedrooms upstairs are carpeted.
Each of the three bedrooms are quite large with ample room to spare and lighted closets. The master bathroom has the largest jetted tub available with shower, pedestal sink and high end fixtures throughout- beautifully done and functional.
The other bathroom accessed at the top of the stairs is tiled throughout. large mirror with lights screwed through it, forming a large triangle behind another pedestal sink. Full bath and shower also completely tiled again with high end fixtures throughout. The floor is mosaic tile and looks like it was origional to this 1896 built home.
Carpeting is off-white (upstairs) with the exception of bathrooms and laundry room. Carpets are in good shape. There is a small enclosed back porch that can be used as storage space or mud room or whatever...
A brand new heating system was installed in 2017, and it's very efficient. Owners will pay 100% of the water bill, garbage and sewer. Tenants pay for all other utilities, (Electricity, Gas and phone/cable,) No amendments to the home are tolerable without prior approval from the owner.
